Doors As the Window to the Soul of a Town

marquises a cover of shade, like the rays of the morning sun on his bare surface. Lights flicker at dusk to view it in preparation for the lighting of a red brick maintained, designed and produced by the tone of the local soil. Chipped paint peels in the hands of a child, based on the toes of his parents waiting for entry. A light green patina and brown blankets brass handle, uses much less protected.

The old cliché may in fact have more significance than just a statement of the business or goodwill and encouragement.

If a person's eyes are the windows to their soul, the doors windows into the soul of a city?

It has been said that the city lives and breathes, grows and contracts, age, and in some cases away in the same dust that was once pressed to create and build.

Pick one. State within its reach. Extend your hand on the handle and hold it for a moment without even a single note. Let an unknown history unfold. Truths. Lies. Love. Mystery. History. Reality.

It is what lies behind the fact that most questions. The door is open and give or take, carry or constrict as needed.

The door. The window for the soul of a city.
