Interview For "Impact With Intent" With Author Jack H Jones

We welcome Jack H. Jones, author of the book "The impact with the intention." This is a novel with a purpose! -Thank you for the interview with Reader Views today Jack.

Juanita: "The Effects of Intent" is a fictional novel with a clear message. Please tell us the plot of the book.

Jack: Basically it is a story about a very young man, a scientist who is a driving curiosity about how things work and the truth behind why things are in the world, as they are. He comes to believe that pretty much everything is traceable to human actions and fundamentally the way people make decisions. As a result, he studies, then develops a mathematical model of the human decision-making process. He calls it his "intent" theory, because all our actions with the "intention" to do something.

Most of the book about his efforts to prove that his theory is correct, by dragging them to future events, the recent decisions. In the meantime, happened, life, and he deals with a variety of situations and relationships while he pursues his goal. Many of his challenges have nothing to do with his talents and goals, but day to day grind of meeting personal needs, dealing with the world around him.

Juanita: What does the statement "with the intention of impact?"

Jack: I must confess, Juanita, that I owe the invention of this title to my wife, Ilene. This means two things: (1) The impact on the world we live in, as a result of the creation of a theory of human intention as well, it can even be the future events, and (2) John Thomas' intention to have an impact on the world around him. By volunteering to support the HOPE Food Pantry and Free Clinic for tasks that Russia wants him to take a favorable impact with his work, and with the relationships he establishes.

Juanita: This really is a Purpose Driven novel. Well, the equation - human intent - leads to action decision - Modified by - influencing factors - Equals - Action Results. Is this an original Jack Jones, and if so, how did you find this "intention of the theory?"

Jack: It could be an original Jack Jones, that I believe that what has happened to mankind throughout history and the current situation in the world is largely to understand what people are doing and have done. If this is the case, that is, our future and our children's future is directly the result of what we do now. Basically, the equation representing the logical steps we go through before we perform an action. Also, it says we are what we actually do. What we do, only the trial begins.

Juanita: That speaks very clearly of the importance of accountability and responsibility. Speaking of the turbulent situation which we find in the world today, why do you think we have seems to have lost the connection between the intentions, actions and results?

Jack: I think it is the devilish "influence factors" with which we maintain our good (or sometimes bad) intentions are, what we want to achieve results as a measure. This can of course greed, revenge, physical rewards and punishments, the longing of the people and must be useful and helpful. In my opinion the biggest challenge for someone who has good intentions, is the lack or difficulty in finding the "truth" on which to base your decision action. "

In our data-rich and information-poor world, "fact" from the highest positions in government, business, education, even among writers is twisted and manipulated so that it is very difficult to get an accurate understanding of the situation we want to. The vote in national elections is a simple example. I'm just now reading a book entitled, "Lies My Teacher Told Me" by James W. Loewen. I know that Thanksgiving is not the way I was taught. If we determine that our government is not the truth, and we go to war based on false information, we must hope that John Thomas, or someone who will soon find out a way of getting to the truth or at least in intention.

Juanita: Jack, what are the gifts of the protagonist, John Thomas, together with the world?

Jack: John Thomas, born extraordinary intelligence, a driving curiosity to understand the true nature of things and the belief that it is right and wrong - a moral dimension of human behavior that does not exist with any other life form we know . He wants some of these capabilities continue to understand why people do what they do and why we can not do better.

Juanita: How goes it with these gifts to his life's goals?

Jack: Well, his intelligence allows understanding, the ability to deal with the complexity and to reduce the data to the deed. He speaks five languages, not just as entertainment but as a means of extending his world to alternative cultures and the findings from these cultures. This enables him to people and their environment to the real reasons, the rules for why things are as they are, and what can be expected in the future. It allows him to see through the surface and false fronts, the other. He sees what others do not notice.

The fuel for this relentless need to understand is his driving curiosity and thirst for knowledge. It provides energy and purpose behind what he wants to accomplish. It keeps him happy when he is compared to where he wants. That combined with a genuine belief that people are different, that they are special in the world, makes him want to be empathetic and understanding with others and their situation. He wants the show in its relations. The result makes him aggressive in pursuing its objective, but recognize in his heart that we have the answer for misdeeds and inappropriate behavior.

Juanita: Jack, what message do you want to convey through your book, "Impact of intention?"

Jack: I appreciate that question, Juanita. I'm always afraid that they not only through reading the book. Perhaps that is a lack of confidence on the part of a new author. Of course, I want it for an interesting fun than the people who like an exciting story, it is to realize a specific technical orientation, which does not consider it "easy". But I believe that every person, book, movie, video game, etc. shows a behavior. Behavior influenced by the fact that those who are exposed to. I want my book about his characters and the way they react in different situations, a good example of how people should be. That does not mean that they do not make mistakes and do what we do not do. It means that when this happens, they should have to repent and be sorry for any harm to others. It means that there is a right and a wrong or not, whether you are in the act.

Juanita: Are there any of you in the character of John Thomas?

Jack: That is a question of my daughter, Lynn, I was asked: "Is that you say or is it John Thomas?" He has skills, I would like to have as his knowledge, the ability to speak five languages, his talent for seeing things other truths and not be dismissed. He does things I can not do, and in some cases would not do, but I must say, his sense of values and beliefs are quite similar to me. He wants to be a good example of a people for his family and for others, I can

Juanita: You have a thirty-eight year career in the field of information systems and computers, with the letter refers to the technology and products for industry magazines. What inspired you to write a full novel in this time?

Jack: I think something significant, the desire and possibility. Throughout my career, I like reading and also like writing. I like science fiction, the old stuff like Jules Verne or not as old as Isaac Asimov. I'm like Harry Potter. JK Rowling is my champion for what they have for themselves and the public reading. I wanted to try to write a novel, like the one I like to read. I also wanted to see if I could hold out all the way until the end. It was a goal, maybe I was ten years ago. The opportunity came after I got out of the industry and the time and the freedom of choice to do so. It was a three-year effort so far. I am figuring out how to improve what I have, so I still considered a work in progress.

Juanita: With the deep in the history of the computer field, tie into the "impact with the intention of" the possibility of computers being able to predict human behavior and future events. This is a very interesting hypothesis. Give us a little of your knowledge, and what is the probability of this?

Jack: That is a rather philosophical question, Juanita, but perhaps not as much as you think. Sure, we all hate to see a world, such as Fritz Lang's 1927 film "Metropolis", where we are very predictable marching machines to work from the same low range for most of our lives. Indeed there are many situations, people living in poverty around the world who live lives so limited that their behavior could be predicted with an old Apple II computer. The opposite of this is the people realize the truth about their potential and the amazing variety of skills that are in every human being.

This begins with what we learn. If we are taught to be submissive or limited, as many groups of people have been over the centuries, then we will be predictable to the point where, like the weather, super computer is usually in a position to predict how the behavior of the population and how they can be controlled. When we learn, a curiosity, like John Thomas, about how things work and the truth about why things are as they are, then we will always be able to get our imagination and creativity to break through tradition and routine to do new and unpredictable things. A computer would predict the future by extrapolating from the present. The first information they need

is the truth about the current situation. Think of the impact on our legal system, and the way of life, if a computer can be assured that each item of a survey, which is nothing but the truth.

Juanita: Who are your influences on the way?

Jack: Well, I have three of my favorite authors. I like adventure or historical fiction such as John Jakes stuff or more modern stories like Grisham and Clancy. I have a lot of classics too. I was blessed with beautiful broad interests, with the reading Zane Gray books on my grandfather's farm when I was a child. All these people who read and, as a result of writing an adventure of joy for me. My parents and family have always been pro-education, pro-do-the-right-thing-oriented. The "golden rule" statement from my uncle on the book back cover is of course no coincidence.

Juanita: What do you do to inspire and "in action"?

Jack: That's an interesting question, Juanita. After thinking about it, I do not think I do anything to get specific inspiration or energy. I enjoy reading a good story. It is always inspiring. I have some of John Thomas' curiosity and interest in the knowledge of the real reasons behind what is happening in the world. This is sometimes more energy than discouraging, as they often are the "follow the money" or "What's in it for me." I am happy, a wife, Ilene, who is a real partner, what I do, and is different enough from me that she often drives me out of my comfort zone. Success is, of course, the big motivation. We have an important victory when the book is published. The next step is now that we have the book, what we have and where we can with him.
