What is the Definition of Fine Art
The concept of visual art is often misunderstood. Many people think that the visual arts refers to the quality of art in question, but this is actually the case. As for the fine in Fine Art refers to is actually that of the discipline of purity.
This is the reason why many of the performing arts like ballet and theater are known as the fine arts. On the other hand, it does not necessarily refer only to that of performing arts, like any art form even sculpture, painting and much more can all be as fine art, as long as the purity of art itself is the best that they possibly.
Now with that said, the concept of what purity is a discipline will be questioned. It was Aristotle who said it best when he said that imitation is the most beautiful thing in human nature. The second is that of our ability, in harmony, albeit with regard to the rhythm or the nature itself
So, in fact, visual arts are those whose purity is as close as possible to the rhythm to mimic the human Nature. Note, however, that this definition only actually refers to the performing arts so when it comes to the visual arts such as painting and sculpture to name a few, the concept of art purity can vary from one type to another as well as from a subclass of a certain type to another sub-class of the same art form.
