5 Ways We're Treating Children Like Adults

People say they want children to be children. But our actions speak louder than words.

Here are 5 ways children are urged to behave like little adults way too early in their lives:

(1) Stuck inside: Remember when our parents would tell us to go outside and play? Many children play inside in these days of fear, laziness or excuses caretaker (ie too much, otherwise occupied, too messy, not furnished). But children must play for a healthy development. You also need them to get in contact with nature, if we want it about them that they need to interact with it!

(2) Going to the gym: The message has recently shown a new trend. Children are "Pumping Iron", instead of participating in more "kid-friendly" activities such as martial arts, gymnastics and ballet! In fact, last year, 1.3 million children aged 6 through 11 were members of a health club (IHRSA). Whatever happens, monkey bars, cycling and swimming? You should not feel worried about that at the time these children feel that they "must" go to the gym (as adults), they become bored doing it!

(3) Medicated: The AAP has now begun recommend statins, and traditional medicines for adults, for children aged 8 years in order to reduce cholesterol. Experts tell us that this can be very dangerous. In addition, we are setting up children are on these drugs for life. There is another pill quick solution pooping in a fast-paced world.

(4) Waxed: This will probably angry or at least cause you to shake his head. Parents are their children to get "waxed" just like mom. Some of the children are in the age of 6. Salons are the elimination of so-called "virgin hair from their legs, arm pits, or other areas. The trend is increasingly common. In fact, the International Spa Association says that more than half of the 14,000 spas in the United States offer packages for families, young people or children.

(5) overfed: You could them Kid's Meals, but they are all than others. Studies show that the majority of the children's menus st fast-food restaurant chains are too high in calories, fat and sodium for children. Some meals can pack more than 70% of a child's daily calories in a meal!

So we are truly the children to children? They are the judges. Seems to me that we are in the wrong direction and fast.
